The internet enables the independent / amateur / hobbyist film maker the distribution mechanism necessary to get their work noticed. This has given rise to a new generation of film makers that want all the tools of the professionals but on a limited budget. Unfortunately the mainstream companies have failed to take notice of this rising market. This is where the D|Focus comes in.

The D|Focus was designed with the hobbyist in mind and provides the basic features of other professional follow focus units, but at a fraction of the cost.

The D|Focus is hand built with care at Ace Precision Products Upland California, USA. Parts are custom cut using state-of-the-art Computer Aided Design (CAD) and CNC Computer Numeric Control (CNC) technology.

I have been interested in the world of independent film making for a little over a year now. My primary area of interest is making Hang Gliding movies.
