The D|Focus is a great little device if you don't have the cash to throw at an Arri, Genus, or Chroziel. I've used mine on many shoots. Everything from corporate vids to weddings and television shows. What's great, like the others, you can use it on practically any camera you want. Whether I'm shooting with my DSLR or my larger shoulder camera, I can slide on the D|Focus and go to town. You may not have as many bells and whistles but, if you need it higher and closer to the camera, get the D|Riser, it's not that much and is still cheaper than the big boys.

I've had my D-Focus for a little over a year now, and I still love it. I'm very impressed with how tight and responsive it is, and it's an amazing price for a Focus system that had zero lag in its movements. I was uneasy about the few plastic pieces that made up the handle and main gear, but its still going strong and has given me no issues.
