I use this product with a 5d mkiii and the Canon T2i DSLR cameras. While the construction is plastic in most places, the rig has held up well (filming in the waves of the ocean, the woods, and riding in a boat, so far, with no huge problems.) The baseplate and rods are very nice.The follow focus has been very smooth and allows me to pull focus from infinity to macro on most of my photo primes
