I first got wind of D|Focus Systems when raising sponsorship support for a documentary film I played part in producing overseas in Japan. Working in the industry I have access to equipment from many companies but I always choose D|Focus products. The follow focus is light weight and has less slack in the gears than products costing much more. The matte box is fantastic. I have two of them and use them all the time. Plus, in an age when everyone is making cheap junk in China, D|Focus products are still made in the USA.
