The internet enables the independent / amateur / hobbyist film maker the distribution mechanism necessary to get their work noticed. This has given rise to a new generation of film makers that want all the tools of the professionals but on a limited budget. Unfortunately the mainstream companies have failed to take notice of this rising market. This is where the D|Focus comes in. 

D|Focus products are designed with the hobbyist in mind and provide the basic features of other professional film making tools at a fraction of the cost. 

D|Focus products are hand built with care at Ace Precision Products Upland California, USA. Parts are custom cut using state-of-the-art Computer Aided Design (CAD) and CNC Computer Numeric Control (CNC) technology and injection molding. 

I have been interested in the world of independent film making for several years now.  My primary area of interest is making Hang Gliding movies. Hang Gliding is a beautiful sport that I feel deserves documentation and I have been using my videos to work towards that goal. You can see my work on my personal web site - www.designbydave.net.
